Instructional Methods & Materials
The workshop uses a variety of strategies -- including case studies,
multi-media, small-group discussion, expert feedback, peer analysis/assessment
and learner self-reflection -- designed to appeal to every learning style. The trainer
serves as expert facilitator, and learner feedback is integrated through regular course
evaluation.
To maximize learning and ensure skills’ transfer, participants apply their strategies
and skills to relevant company issues. Participants establish their own learning goals,
learn critical and creative thinking techniques, and apply the problem-solving model to
real, work-related problems. Participants also assess their own and others’ decisions in discussions with their colleagues and the trainer.
Customized workbooks can be supplied.
Course content tailored to specific participants’ experiences provides
the best learning. Through a prior needs' assessment, the trainer
identifies both organizational and individual perspectives and
